Meet our Florists

"Thank you so much for the wonderful flowers you and your team prepared for us on our wedding day. They were really beautiful and made every photo come alive Thanks again for making our wedding day that much more memorable."

Meet the Crazy Daisy Flowers Team

Daisy
Hi I'm Daisy, I'm in the shop 24/7 so know exactly everything that's going on and have all the answers!

You will often find me hanging around by the counter trying to look busy. I would like to think that all the girls get their inspiration from yours truly!

Ginny
Hi I'm Ginny, I am an artist and passionate gardener, I love to paint, primarily in water colours and oils, I spend a lot of my free time in the garden and tending to our allotment. I also enjoy Calligraphy, card making, knitting and occasionally sewing.

I found floristry after being a full time mum of 3 boys and wanting to use my creativity. I started with a course at Cheltenham then studied for 2 years at Pershore College, and enjoyed both learning about horticulture as well as the creative side. I now enjoy the challenge of creating wonderful floral displays for the very creative people of Stroud.

"Ginny is our newest member of the team and has fitted in perfectly but also keeping her own style. As an added bonus Ginny's hand writing is great, we now have gorgeously written signs!"

Kelly
Hello, my name is Kelly, I am currently training in floristry as I am returning back to work having had some time off to have and look after my two beautiful daughters. My background is in retail and venue decoration.

I am really enjoying learning new skills and being back in the retail world, as we specialise in weddings and events I love it when I get to go out and decorate the venues as this is where I excel and the theme comes together.

"Kelly came in to help out at a difficult time and it was obvious to me and other staff she had a natural eye for colour and style so we talked her into staying and training in Floristry. We often refer to Kelly as the Cinderella of the shop!"

Olga
Hello, I am Olga; Originally I am from Latvia and have been living in England for more than 6 years now. My first flower arranging course I took when I was 16, since then I have done 3 levels in City and Guilds in various floristry and I am planning to study further.

Flowers are my passion. I like being creative. My work is inspired by strong English tradition and modern European style. I am very proud to be a part of the Crazy Daisy team and enjoy every minute of it.

"I made a bad decision on my first meeting and let Olga slip through my fingers, however I soon realised my mistake and as soon as I could I took Olga on as a full time member of the team and I don't think either of us have ever looked back, Olga is a fantastic Florist and only slightly dizzy!"

Kerry
My name is Kerry, sometimes known as "Kerry Ann". I started at Crazy Daisy as a part-time delivery driver but soon started helping in the shop.

I am mainly from a customer service background, and have always been fairly creative, so enjoy working with the beautiful and varied flowers and plants. We are a great team at Crazy Daisy and work well together. Training is on going, with new and fresh ideas which keep my job exciting.

"Kerry has recently returned back to work having been on maternity. It's great to have her back as she is a very versatile member of the team and always keeps the spirits high in the work room."

Bev
I'm Bev, I am the van driver for Crazy Daisy, I am very friendly and have a bubbly personality, and I always greet customers with a smile even if I have spent an age looking for your house!

I love my job at Crazy Daisy Flowers.

"I had worked with Bev previously so I knew that she was a brilliant van driver with a good knowledge of the Stroud valleys and beyond. It's not often that Bev can't find the address. Oh and she makes my cup of tea just how I like it!"

Natasha
Hello I'm Natasha. I work at Crazy Daisy Flowers as a fabulous freelance florist. I have been in the profession for over 20 years and I am still as passionate about flowers now as I was then.

I really enjoy being part of the team at Crazy Daisy and working with Abbie. Whilst I love my freelance work it is really great working with others and I love the shop environment, especially at busy times such as Christmas when everyone is full of good cheer and the shop is full of sparkle and at Mothers Day when when young and old alike want something special for their Mum!

"I first met Natasha when I was fresh out of College and she worked where I got my first job as a florist. She was lovely and gave me much encouragement. Over the years we have become very good friends and just get each other. When it comes to flowers, we share the passion, however at times this can cause hysteria - we often refer to ourselves as "smashy and nicey" or even "Dump and Dumper". I will always be very grateful to Natasha as she has been so helpful and supportive from day one."

Abbie
Hi I am Abbie, otherwise known as Crazy Daisy, The Boss, Abbie Daisy or just plain crazy! I was something of a late starter in the floristry world and did not study floristry until I was in my twenties.

I attended Filton College and gained a BTEC National Certificate. Whilst I was at college I got a job working in a very good flower shop where I gained essential experience. I enjoyed my job very much but knew I could do more. It was at this point I came to Stroud for some general shopping and realised that Stroud didn't have a flower shop and that's where it all started! I knew exactly what style and look I wanted the shop to be, somewhere fresh and bright where customers could be inspired and enjoy the scent and beauty of all flowers.

I opened the shop in October 2007 and haven't looked back, the business is steadily growing and we now have a really good customer base, we are recognised as one of the leading florists for wedding flowers and venue decoration in the Cotswolds and have many corporate clients. I am really lucky I have a super team of staff working for me and who all share the same passion for flowers and customer service as me. Also my family have been great and without their help and support from day one Crazy Daisy may not have got off the ground.
